Helloes everyone!
For those of you who haven’t heard from us since we left our cold and rainy homecountry here’s an update!
First of all, YES, we are doing fine… or not just fine but excellent I would say! The weather and the surroundings here are truly amazing and we are all trying to adapt to all the new things… the english talk is getting along but we sure need to get working on that thing called “floooow”.
The media section should be updated any time now with some pictures from the flights and our first days in the country so don’t forget to check it out!
Talking of the flights, Malaysian made a very good impression on us all with great service as free drinks and stuff. We also managed to skip much of the time using their mediabased system which allowed us to play old good classic games like Battleship (Sänka skepp) and Pong
They also hade a nice collection of movies and tv-series that you could watch whenever you felt like.

The New York visit was a bit short but we managed to see times square, central park and some other neat stuff before leaving. Of course we also timed our visit perfectly along with the local PRIDE-parade on 5th street hahaha!

Something I have to mention aswell was the totally failed check in on our jetblue flight to San Diego. All four of us ended up repacking our trunks in front of the check in box and approx. 100 other passengers. The repacking went kind of smooth however so after 15 mins of embarressment we were all set for our flight. The flight gave us some nice views during our departure, after 40 mins (of taxying and waiting) and 35 aircrafts taking of before us, and also some really neat views of a night-time san diego from above upon arrival.
We haven’t really seen that much of the US and all it’s weird and funny things but we have put a list together on our experiences so far
1. Indian people talk very funny!
2. The Americans seems to believe that you can fry anything…
3. Turning right even if you have a red light is apparently ok!
4. America is all about papers papers and more papers
5. Sunglasses is a must!
6. Bank system is 30 years behind Europe… checks for everything?
7. All cars are automatic
8. God bless Bud Light! (Available at the local 7-Eleven across the street of course)
9. Don’t buy a car from a sleezy looking mexican at 1030PM in a mexican area…
10. Indian people talk very funny!
And so on and so on…
So we have now spent a few days here in the US and a some of that time here in San Diego, or El Cajon wich this part of the town is actually called. We are currently in the market for a new place to stay but we actually managed to get hold of a really nice car today. We had to empty 1.5 ATM (”Cash withdrawal machine”) on cash before we could get hold of the money we needed for the car though haha!
Anyways we are now proud owners of the pink slip to a 1996 Ford Taurus, automatic of course………

Im gonna end this blog now since it is already way to long. Im truly impressed if anyone managed to keep their eyes open through all this text?
Come back soon for a new update!
